If
you choose to plant your orchids in pots, make sure that on
top of the bottom drainage you place rocks, charcoals or pieces
of broken clay to allow water to drain. Moss must be moistened
before it is used. Take some of the wet moss and place it
around the roots of the plant, position plant inside the pot
and firmly pack more of the moss around it. Do not cover the
crown area or the rhizome of the plant completely. Anchor
and secure plant to the pot by using clips, pot stakes or
pot hangers.
